Our journey began with a simple idea: to create a specialty coffee roasting business that brings people together. As we got started, we quickly realized that the name we chose would be so much more than just words on a label—it would embody our family, our values, and our passion for great coffee.

When it came to choosing a name, we found ourselves in a whirlwind of ideas. From playful alliterations like “Pesky Pelican Roasters” to punny favorites such as “Java the Hut,” we couldn’t quite land on the perfect one. Then came the moment when Liz suggested a name that clicked with us all—“Archer & Company Roasters.” Archer, Liz’s son, became the perfect anchor for our brand, with “Company” representing all of our growing family—grandchildren, future generations, and the community we wanted to build with our customers.

Our name, Archer & Co. Roasters, carries with it the love we have for our families and the dedication we put into each batch of coffee we roast. It's a symbol of the joy we find in connecting with others and in sharing the delicious flavors of our carefully crafted coffees.
